Your pet's annual veterianry check-up will include the necessary vaccinations, and a total physical exam, including, but not limited to weight, vital statistics and a thorough Doctor examination.
Besides an annual physical exam, yearly dental exams are also recommended. Even the most cooperative pets sometimes balk at regular tooth brushing, so a dental scaling may be necessary for your pet's overall health and well being.
It's a good idea to keep an accurate medical diary not only of the procedures and vaccinations your pet receives at the vet, but also of notes on things like your pet's elimination habits and any physical changes or unusual occurrences. Keep track of small shifts in your pet's behavior, including urinary marking habits and mood swings, along with diet and routine modifications. Take this notebook when you visit the vet. These seemingly unrelated occurrences may help explain results of your pet's medical tests.
Here at Ad Park Pet Clinic, we strive to be compassionate and willing to explain all the procedures your pet undergoes. We realize that it is important for both you and your pet to feel comfortable. We have a qualified staff and Doctor, and the facilities and equipment necessary to undertake surgery and perform procedures requiring anesthesia, such as teeth cleaning, neutering, spaying and other various surgeries. We have the diagnostics available to check your pet's health conditions and health status.
The Doctor and staff at Ad Park Pet Clinic may, in special cases, have to refer you to a specialist, veterinarians who have completed advanced studies in areas such as internal medicine, advanced surgery, and emergency care, if your pet must undergo a procedure that requires more precise knowledge and experience.
